Graphic Designer

DESCRIPTION Using knowledge of a variety of methods, techniques and materials to design, produce and reproduce visual products. To  perform layout of technical and non-technical publications and other communication products,; such as, pamplet, brochures, newsletters, posters, briefing sheets, and manuals.

          About the job: This position plays a vital role in our day to day procedures at Newport LAZERQUICK and to continue to provide help our customers. The successful candidate will have strong will for learning, a high aptitude for details, proven ability to work in a fast past environment, and the ability to analyze various problems.

Your Skills and Experiences:

  • The Ability to develop and implement clean and concise messages in design.
  • Project layout and prepress
  • The Ability to produce high-quality content
  • Giving and receiving feedback to produce the highest quality product possible
  • Ability to analyze complex situations, problem solve, and create action plans
  • Experience in the field of Graphic Design or print.
  • Ability to tie results to initiatives (track attribution)
  • Pick up new technologies and willingness to continue to grow.

Background Experience: Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office (especially areas of word, excel, and publisher), ability to work on a MAC and PC. Print experience, ability to multitask and work with deadlines. Large document printing set up. Preflighting and prepress set up experience.
